Online Services

Online Banking

Online Banking is a convenient service that most financial institutions offer for free. Online Banking allows you secure online access to your account to check your balances and make transfers, including making loan and credit card payments.

In addition to the ability to conduct transactions, Online Banking services also typically offer Account Alerts or Account Reminders. You can set up this feature to send you an E-mail or text message to notify you of a certain activity, such as a check clearing or you balance reaching a certain amount. (These reminders can be helpful in balancing your account and avoiding overdrafts!)

Online Bill Pay

Online Bill Pay is another convenient service offered by most financial institutions. The service is generally offered to people with Online Banking and a checking account. While some institutions offer this service for free, others may charge a minimal monthly fee.

When you set up a bill to be paid within Online Bill Pay, your financial institution will automatically send the payment for you from your checking account. You can choose to make a one-time payment or to set up recurring payments to happen automatically.

Note: Some organizations will not accept payments via Bill Payer, such as the IRS and other taxing entities, court ordered payments, or payments outside the U.S.

E-Statements

E-Statements are an easy, free and environmentally friendly way to receive your monthly statements. Each month you are sent an E-mail letting you know your statement is available for you to view through Online Banking. Most financial institutions offer this great service at no charge. In fact, some institutions offer an incentive to sign up for E-Statements.

Tracking Your Account

Online Banking is a great way to keep an eye on your account. With 24/7 access, you can see what's happening with your account every day, not just when your monthly statement arrives.
